# How to override Product Categories Filter

<mark style="color:blue;">**Step 1**</mark> – Simply go to **Products** **→** **Categories** > Edit categories:

<mark style="color:blue;">**Step 2**</mark> – Navigate to **Appearance** **→** **Widgets** and build a filter for categories that you have just created:
