# How to fix Elementor Can not Add or Edit load

There are some cases after installing or using the theme for a while,

You want to edit "Footer", "Custom Block" and encounter the error Elementor cannot upload to edit them.

It seems related with the site’s Permalinks settings. This can be easily fixed.

Please try going to **Dashboard -> Settings -> Permalinks -> Click Save Changes** – Then try edit again.
