*We recommend the WP Rocket caching plugin. Click* [***here***](/common-issues-and-faqs/faq-guides/how-to-configuration-the-optimization-wp-rocket-basic.md) *to know how to configuration the optimization WP Rocket plugin basic.*

### **Hosting**

Using a solid web-host plays a major part in your site's performance. For business owners setting-up a Small to Medium size WooCommerce store, a shared host from [**NameCheap**](https://namecheap.pxf.io/5X6Po) is popular choices.

### **Caching**

The most effective way to speed up a WordPress site is with a Caching plugin. We are using [**WP Rocket**](https://shareasale.com/r.cfm?b=1075949\&u=2826062\&m=74778\&urllink=\&afftrack=) on the theme's preview site. WP Rocket is a premium plugin, but it's one of the best and most beginner-friendly caching plugins available in our opinion.

### **Images**

Non-optimized images are a common issue with beginner websites. Since original images tend to be large, we recommend using an image-editor to resize and optimize them before uploading to WordPress.\
To help automate this process you can use an image-optimization plugin like [**Imagify**](https://wordpress.org/plugins/imagify/)**,** [**Smush**](https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-smushit/) or [**EWWW Image Optimizer**](https://wordpress.org/plugins/ewww-image-optimizer/).

### **CDN (Content Delivery Network)**

If your site is getting a good amount of traffic you can consider using a [**CDN**](https://shareasale.com/r.cfm?b=1075949\&u=2826062\&m=74778\&urllink=\&afftrack=)**.** This will ensure that your site's most frequently-accessed content (like images) are delivered from a server located closest to the visitor. The most popular providers today are [**Rocket CDN**](https://shareasale.com/r.cfm?b=1075949\&u=2826062\&m=74778\&urllink=\&afftrack=) (our choice) and [**Cloudflare**](https://www.cloudflare.com/cdn/)**.**

\
**The** [**WP Rocket**](https://shareasale.com/r.cfm?b=1075949\&u=2826062\&m=74778\&urllink=\&afftrack=) **caching plugin recommended above has built-in CDN support.**
